  Project Background The Shwe Kokko New City project, a planned urban and casino development in Myanmar, is situated in the township of Shwe Kokko, near the Myanmar-Thailand border along the Moei River. This project is approximately 25 km north of Myawaddy, in the Myawaddy District of Kayin (Karen) State. The development, also known as YaTai City or Myawaddy New City, includes housing, an entertainment complex with hotels and casinos, an industrial zone with a cargo depot, and an airport. The city is expected to have its own cryptocurrency developed in partnership with Building Cities Beyond (BCB) Blockchain.
